Here I go!

I was looking at my old MySpace page the other day.  (I haven't been on MySpace in a LONG time!)  I started reading some of the "Notes" that I had written in there and remembered how much I used to enjoy writing about things that were going on in my life.  It's not always extremely interesting stuff, but I started thinking how cool it would be to have a place where we would be able to look back over experiences, lessons, thoughts and pictures of our day-to-day.  My kids are growing so fast and I don't want to forget anything about their lives.

So, here I go...  The good, the bad, the ugly... The Humphrey Family...

    Kara,
    I love this and I love that you're doing this. You write so eloquently and tell your stories in such a way that I feel like I'm reading a best seller that I can't put down & if I do I can't wait till I get to pick it back up again. That is exactly how I felt as I neared the end of your blog. I can't wait to read more! I'm so inspired by you to be a better mom and see my children as the invaluable gifts from God that they are as you do. Good luck and God bless!

    So, I'm starting at the beginning. I wish I'd known you were doing this! I started a blog a couple of years ago for the same reason. I liked the idea of having a record of our busy life, my thoughts, my kids, a place to share pictures, etc., etc. However, like a lot of things that I start, it got pushed to the back burner. And it's been sitting there since July 12, 2009!!!! I feel a little inspired by you to start the ol' thing up again. We'll see.....
