I had lunch with my husband, who by the way, I've re-decided is the smartest man on Earth. We ended up eating Julie's take-out (mmmmmmmm..) at his desk. People were in and out asking questions and checking in with him and I was again reminded how good he is juggling a million things and still managing to keep it all organized in his head. There's some kind of rare phenomenon going on inside his brain that allows him to store and recall an enormous amount of info, dates, facts, numbers etc. After 17 years together, I'm still impressed.
I also registered for my summer and fall classes! Just FYI, the fall and spring should be the last 2 semesters before I FINALLY graduate from college. I have been working on this dang degree, on and off for 15 years! Whatever it means to everyone else, I will be completely impressed and proud of myself! :)
My last stop was Books-A-Million. Accompanied by my caramel, coconut iced latte, I was able to look through some travel books that suggested places all over the world to visit. So, here's the deal, I've decided that before I die, I want to go to Kenya, Brisbane, Rome, Jerusalem and some big city in China... Not to mention every tropical place on earth! I guess that degree better pay off...

When you make plans for Kenya I can help you and hook you up with a driver and travel guide. I went there twice, the 1st time for 2 1/2 weeks and the second time for almost a month. BEAUTIFUL!
ReplyDeleteI'm jealous of this day in your life! Haven't had one of those in over a year and a half! Great that you got to see John in his work zone. I NEVER get to see Sam at work. I realize that I have no idea what a day on the job looks like to him. Really makes you appreciate him more, huh? Congrats on finishing school in the next year!!! Good for you! I am proud, for what that matters. Ahhh, BAM is a great place to go alone. You know I'm a fan. ;-) Wow, that is a pretty ambitious travel list. You better live a long life, girl! Do you consider taking kids on any of these trips? Just wondering. I have a hard time leaving my kids for long trips.
